1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SPLICE ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

SPLICE is an AI-powered video editing plugin for Adobe Premiere Pro that provides:

  • Automatic silence detection and removal
  • AI-powered take detection
  • AI music generation
  • Caption generation and export
  • Vocal isolation
  • Social media reframing

3. Account Registration

To use SPLICE, you must create an account and provide accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and license key.

4. Subscription and Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually
  • All plans include a 14-day free trial
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time
  • Refunds are available within 7 days of initial purchase (see Refund Policy)
  • Overage charges apply when you exceed your plan limits

5. Usage Limits

Each subscription tier includes specific usage limits for processing hours, music generations, and vocal isolation minutes. Usage beyond these limits incurs overage charges as specified on our pricing page.

6. License Grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use SPLICE for your personal or business video editing projects. You may not sublicense, resell, or distribute the Service.

7. Intellectual Property

  • You retain all rights to your original content
  • AI-generated music created through SPLICE is licensed for use in your projects
  • You may not claim exclusive ownership of AI-generated content
  • SPLICE and its technology remain our intellectual property

8. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Use the Service for illegal purposes
  • Share your license key with others
  • Circumvent usage limits or security measures
  • Use automated tools to abuse the Service

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR MEET YOUR SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPLICE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES.

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your license to use SPLICE immediately expires.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
