Edit Multi-Speaker Podcasts
Automatically switch between speakers and balance screen time in multicam recordings.
Instructions

Set up your project
Import all camera angles as separate clips. Each speaker should have their own video track.

Open Multitrack panel
Navigate to the Multitrack section in SPLICE.

Configure speakers
Add 2-4 speakers, name them, and assign video tracks to each speaker.

Run analysis
SPLICE will analyze audio to detect who is speaking when.

Review distribution
Check the speaker time distribution chart to see screen time percentages.

Enable auto-balance (optional)
Click Auto-Balance to even out screen time between speakers.

Set wide shot percentage
Configure how often to cut to a wide shot (0-30% recommended).

Build multicam sequence
Generate the edited sequence with automatic speaker switching.
