Installation Guide

Complete instructions for installing SPLICE on your system. We recommend the CEP version for maximum compatibility and feature set.

CEP Version (Recommended)

  • Adobe Premiere Pro 14.0 - 25.9
  • macOS 10.15+ or Windows 10/11
  • 8GB RAM minimum (16GB recommended)
  • Active internet connection for license activation

Important: Enable Debug Mode

CEP extensions require debug mode to be enabled. This is safe and required for all third-party CEP extensions.

Common Issues

SPLICE doesn't appear in Extensions menu

Make sure you've restarted Premiere Pro after installation. For CEP, verify debug mode is enabled.

License activation fails

Check your internet connection and verify the license key is entered correctly without extra spaces.

Panel shows blank/white screen

Try closing and reopening the panel, or restart Premiere Pro. This can happen if the panel loads before initialization completes.
